MPCDF Status Page

Dear MPCDF users,

next week there will be a maintenance of the archive system HPSS at MPCDF. It will be unavailable for read and write operations from Monday, July 13th at 16:00 hours until Wednesday, July 15th in the evening.

Affected systems are:

• Filesytem '/r', usually accessed directly from the HPCs 'raven' and 'viper', as well as through the machine 'archive.mpcdf.mpg.de'.

• Filesystem '/p', usually accessed through the machine 'archive.mpcdf.mpg.de'.

• All other filesystems which automatically migrate data to tape, in use by individual Max Planck Institutes.

Dear HPC users,

on Tuesday, July 14th, 08:00 am there will be a maintenance of the Raven and Viper login nodes (both Viper-CPU and Viper-GPU). All user sessions have to be stopped by then.

The login nodes are expected to be back in service in the course of the day.
